I’m a pretty experienced, broadly interested designer and conceptual & analytical thinker. Often the outcome of my work is a digital product or service, involving strategy, branding, art direction, content direction, motion or simply a lot of love for design. I enjoy working in all of these fields – preferably in a team with inspiring people. Creating concepts and designs from scratch and pitching ideas to clients is my favorite sport.
In my former life I designed a lot of books and printed works. The understanding of Type, Grids, Composition, Photography, Storytelling and Curation forms the base of my today's designs.
As I’m passionate about arts and culture I like to work for cultural clients. At the same time I enjoy the diversity of commercial clients which leads to new challenges and perspectives on design.
Of course I know a lot about the latest trending stuff: Digital Transformation, Design Thinking, User Centred Design, Digital Ecosystems, Agile, Scrum, … you name it — but let's be honest, in the end it’s all about making good design happen, whatever it takes.
I’m fluent in Dutch & English, with a lovely german accent and native in German. Since 2008 I live in Amsterdam.
